SOUND OF NOISE
A patient with a new heart disappears at a hospital. The patient is later found in a surgery room, confused. According to his ECG, he has been dead. The patient claims that he has been abducted by six surgeons to be used as a human musical instrument.
A policeman, Warnebring, is confronted with the bizarre case. A case without any clues except from a left behind metronome in hardwood. Later, when a group of musicians uses a whole road construction site to perform a piece of avant-garde music, Warnebring understands he is faced with outlaws of a new kind; serial musicians.
Warnebring starts a desperate hunt for the group of eccentric drummers who have devoted themselves to their art form. Performing on anything but ordinary instruments, the group strikes all over the city. Their twisted agenda leads to chaos and disorder, and worse - it appears as if sound disappears where they have played.

Warnebring's hunt for the perpetrators soon turns into a personal vendetta. The policeman is suffering from a severe and growing hearing impairment and the noise in the big city is a constant torture for the silence-seeking Warnebring. To capture the drummers the tormented Warnebring has to expose himself to the frightening world of rhythm and music. He must get inside the mind of a drummer.
